DRIVING YOUR CAR AS FAST AS YOU WANT TO DRIVE, around curves, uphill and down, enjoying the acceleration, braking, and cornering of your car, for about half an hour at a time - - without having to worry about getting a ticket.

THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO DRIVE ON A ROAD RACING TRACK!

BEING ON THE TRACK WITH OTHER DRIVERS WHO ARE TRYING TO DRIVE FASTER, SAFER, AND MORE CONSISTENTLY THAN YOU. It is intense and requires your full attention - - all thoughts of work are put aside, the scenery blurs, the adrenaline flows, your heart beats faster, and you want to catch and pass the car in front of you!

THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO DRIVE IN A ROAD RACE!

FINISHING THE RACE IN FIRST PLACE- - the satisfaction of a race well driven along with the triumph of winning. At the award presentation, you collect your award to the congratulations and applause of your fellow drivers and the organizers. You take the beautiful award home to display in a place of honor, to announce your success to everyone.

THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO WIN AT ROAD RACING!

AND, WIN OR LOSE, YOU WILL BECOME A BETTER DRIVER FROM YOUR ON-TRACK EXPERIENCES.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, YOU ARE TIRED AND PUMPED AT THE SAME TIME,

AND THE QUESTION IS...

WHEN CAN WE DO IT AGAIN?
WHAT A GREAT FEELING!

Start Racing with SATCAR

All you need is a helmet and a trackworthy car with three point factory shoulder harnesses. Convertibles require extra safety equipment. You do not have to invest in a special race car, trailer, and tow vehicle

If you have track experience, you may qualify for a SATCAR® competition license. If not, you will need to attend at least two days of performance driving school at a road racing track. SATCAR® will be offering driving schools or you can attend other road course based schools.

The SATCAR® format and rules are like those that have been used in open tracking events and performance driving schools for many years. Thousands of drivers have driven events, using these rules, for millions of miles with only occasional incidents. The insurance company that insures many motorsports events has reviewed the SATCAR® rules and procedures and has approved them for these races.

Starts will be single file from pit lane. Passing is allowed only on the longer straights. Corners must be driven in single file. Overly aggressive or unsafe driving will be subject to penalties and/or exclusion from the event.

You can compete in SATCAR® races with minimal risk to yourself and your car and with minimal extra wear and tear on your car.

SATCAR®'s unique (Patented) Performance Parity Timing system is based on qualifying at the event and equalizes the competition for all drivers. More horsepower, stickier tires, or stiffer suspension do not increase the chance for a win. Call or visit here to learn more about Performance Parity Timing.

You can WIN with any car, stock or modified. DRIVING SKILL, NOT CAR PREPARATION, is the major factor in winning. PROVE you are a better driver by WINNING - - and taking home one of our beautiful awards!

Using the car you drive every day eliminates a large, up-front investment to race. The primary race-related expenses will be entry fees, brake pads, and tires.

A cost comparison of SATCAR® racing to most types of club racing showed that a driver could race with SATCAR® for about 1/3 the cost per event or 1/5 the cost per hour on track. This is a SAVINGS OF 65 TO 80% on the costs of racing! More details of this cost comparison are posted here.
SATCAR® racing is a logical and much needed step in driver development and in the enjoyment of driving your car. It is a move up from driving schools and open tracking by providing competition - - at about the same cost. It is less intense, much safer to you and your car, and MUCH LESS COSTLY than club racing.
