2008 FORMULA STREET^® FALL SERIES

THE START OF SOMETHING BIG!!!

SATCAR^® offers exciting track time for all drivers in their new FORMULA STREET^® Fall Series. Whether you have a totally stock street car or a track prepared car, you can participate. We are planning three high speed groups and a lunch time touring group. The high speed groups will be: DRIVING SCHOOL, PRACTICE/LAPPING, and RACE. All groups will run to the rules typical of driving schools and open tracking events (Passing only on straights, single file in corners, and single file starts from pit lane) so that you and your car are as safe as possible. The race group will use the unique SATCAR^® handicap scoring system to insure fairness for all drivers. DRIVE CONSISTENTLY and SAFELY and YOU CAN WIN with any car.

Be among the first to participate in this championship series offered by SATCAR^®. The series will consist of the four event dates listed below. Each day of each event is being planned to have a rotating sequence of run groups. Each run group will have between 1 ½ and 2 hours of track time per day. Sessions will be a minimum of 30 minutes each. The scheduled sessions for the race group will be: morning practice, mid-day qualifying, and afternoon race. Points will be awarded to drivers based on finishing positions.

At the end of the series, the first SATCAR^® FORMULA STREET^® CHAMPION will be named and recognized...

Quite an honor for anyone!

Drivers who qualify by experience will be issued a Competition License and can enter the race group. Drivers who need more experience to qualify to race can enter the DRIVING SCHOOL group. Drivers who want track time but are not sure about entering the race group can enter the PRACTICE/LAPPING group and watch the race to see if they would like to try SATCAR^® FORMULA STREET^® racing. Combining the high speed groups with the lunch time touring provides a driving and spectating experience for everyone.

SATCAR^® races can be won by any driver who drives well, no matter what car they bring to the event. This was shown dramatically by the winner of the first race at Blackhawk Farms on Sept. 1. Andy Besic competed in his wife’s grocery getter - - a VW Jetta Turbo Diesel with an automatic transmission. Is this a winning race car? In SATCAR^® it is!!

Andy is an experienced vintage race driver and won the SATCAR^® race by driving consistent laps closer to his qualifying time than other drivers in the race. The track was slower for the afternoon race and Andy’s average lap time was 2.875 seconds slower than his qualifying time. All the other drivers were over three seconds and some were over five seconds slower. Every lap they would lose a little time to Andy and he held the lead at the end.

Andy figured out a winning strategy and drove consistently and penalty free as close as he could to his qualifying time. This strategy will put you close to or at the front every time.

EVENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

You can register for the events by downloading and printing the .pdf entry forms and send them to SATCAR^® along with payment information or enclosed payment. Another alternative is to fill out the registration form and E-mail it to kern@satcarracing.com along with your payment information.

Drivers who sign up for the DRIVING SCHOOL or PRACTICE/LAPPING groups can have their lap times recorded if they would like. We will be operating the timing system during these sessions. If you already have a transponder, just register it on your registration form. If you do not have a transponder, they will be available for rent. Just indicate on your form that you would like to rent one and pay the rental fee with your registration.

SATCAR^® FORMULA STREET^® FALL SERIES REWARD PROGRAM

SATCAR^® realizes that you have a choice of many track events to attend and we want to show our appreciation for considering and choosing to participate in the events that we are offering you. To show that appreciation, we are offering you various rewards for entering early and often.

POLE POSITION REWARD - Offered as a reward for an early entry into the first event that you enter in the FORMULA STREET^® Fall Series.

Register 90 days prior to the event, using either the QUALIFIER REWARD deposit or full payment.
Free one year membership - $ 30 Value
Free one year Competition License (If eligible) - $ 25 Value

HIGH MILE REWARD - Rewards those drivers entering multiple events. An event is considered as taking place at a separate track. Two days at the same track are considered as one event.

Enter two events - $ 10 Off the Entry Fee of each
Enter three events - $ 15 Off the Entry Fee of each
Enter four events - $ 20 Off the Entry Fee of each
All entries must be received at the same time.

QUALIFIER REWARD - Allows early entry to insure a starting spot and to receive the POLE POSITION and HIGH MILE REWARDS without full payment at the time of entry.

Payment for the entries can be made with a deposit of $ 50 per event as early as desired.
Final payment, less any rewards, must be received 60 days prior to the event date.

CHECKERED FLAG REWARD - Drivers who run races on all seven days of the series will receive a personalized SATCAR^® jacket as a Thank You for supporting the series.

FALL SERIES POINTS SCHEDULE

The points schedule for the championship is listed below. Each driver will be allowed his/her best five results to determine their points total.

BONUS POINTS: FIRST PLACE - 5
SECOND PLACE - 3
THIRD PLACE - 2
MOST CONSISTENT - 5

· Cars that do not start the race will receive no points.

· DNF (Did Not Finish) cars will be ranked based on the number of laps completed, along with any time penalties, and will receive points based on their final ranking.

· DISQ (Disqualified) cars will receive no points.
